Defender (109/130) is an Uncommon Trainer from Base Set 2 with print ID base4-109-Normal. It attaches to one of your Pokémon and, until it is discarded at the end of your opponent's next turn, makes attacks against that Pokémon deal 20 less damage after applying Weakness and Resistance. It provides short-term protection to soak a single attack or buy time for healing and switches.
