It has the Melt Away Ability that removes its Retreat Cost when it has no Energy and a Lava Burst attack that can discard up to five Fire Energy to deal 70 damage per card discarded. The discard-based attack offers very high single-hit potential but forces builds that load multiple Fire Energy onto this Pokémon, favoring heavy-energy strategies.
