Buffer Piece (pl4-84) is a Pokémon Tool Trainer from the Arceus expansion. It reduces damage done to the Pokémon it is attached to by an opponent's attack by 20 and is discarded at the end of your opponent's turn after you played it or if the Pokémon is Knocked Out. Because it only lasts a single opponent turn, it's typically used as a temporary shield to absorb a single heavy attack rather than a long-term defensive option.
