It has the Resolute Heart Ability that prevents a knockout when at full HP by leaving it at 10 HP instead, and an attack, Topaz Bolt, that deals 300 damage but requires discarding three Energy from this Pokémon. The card carries the usual ex drawback where if a Pokémon ex is Knocked Out your opponent takes two Prize cards, affecting its matchup risk and deck planning.
