Rare Candy (045/SV-P) is a Trainer — Item card from the Scarlet & Violet Promos promo series. It lets you take a Stage 2 Evolution card from your hand and place it directly onto one of your Basic Pokémon in play, skipping the Stage 1 step, with timing restrictions preventing use on the first turn or on Pokémon that just entered play. As an Item, you may play any number of it during your turn, making it a straightforward way to accelerate evolving key attackers or techs into play.
