While you have seven or more cards in your trash he cannot be removed from the field by opponent effects, and on your turn with ten or more cards in your trash he sets the base power of all your Five Elders to 7000. Those effects make him a resilient support piece that boosts themed Five Elders decks rather than serving primarily as a standalone attacker.
