Archmage Ascension (ZEN-42 foil) is a blue enchantment from the Zendikar set. It gains a quest counter at each end step where you drew two or more cards, and once it has six or more counters it can replace individual draws by letting you search your library for a card instead. In a deck it serves as a long-term card selection engine that rewards heavy card-drawing strategies and can be stacked with multiple copies for additional replacement effects.
