Verazol, the Split Current (PZNR-239p) is a Legendary Creature — Serpent from the Zendikar Rising Promos set that costs {X}{G}{U}. It enters with a number of +1/+1 counters equal to the mana spent to cast it and can remove two +1/+1 counters to copy any kicked spell you cast, creating the copy on the stack and allowing new targets. As a high-variable X creature it often functions as a payoff piece in kicker- or X-mana strategies and can interact strongly with spells that have kicked effects or create permanent tokens when copied.
