Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate (PZNR-226p foil) is a legendary Angel Wizard creature from the Zendikar Rising Promos set. She has a triggered combat ability that, if you have a full party at the beginning of your combat, can lock down a nonland permanent until your next turn and prevent its activated abilities from being activated. You can also sacrifice Linvala to grant hexproof or indestructible to your creatures until end of turn, providing a defensive or protective swing in combat or against board wipes.
