It makes a target opponent discard two cards and can create a Wicked Role Aura that enchants up to one creature you control, granting +1/+1 and a life-loss trigger when that Role is put into a graveyard. As a combined hand-disruption spell and attachable Role generator, it serves both as disruption and a modest tempo/value piece in black decks.
