Its static replacement makes you exile cards from your library instead of paying life when possible, and it has loyalty abilities that let you exile or draw cards, create two 1/1 black Nightmare tokens that can grow, and a −7 that makes an opponent exile cards equal to the mana value of cards you own in exile. The card supports graveyard and exile-centric strategies by generating exile advantage and persistent token value while interacting with deck composition.
