Role Reversal (WAR-214) is a rare sorcery from War of the Spark that exchanges control of two target permanents that share a permanent type. Its effect swaps control indefinitely and doesn’t move Auras or Equipment attached to those permanents, and it fails if a target is illegal at resolution. The card requires that both targets share one of the main permanent types (artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker), so it’s commonly used to steal opposing threats or swap problematic permanents between players.
