Karn, the Great Creator (PWAR-1p; Prerelease stamp) is a rare Legendary Planeswalker promo from the War of the Spark Promos set. Its static ability stops opponents from activating activated abilities of artifacts, its +1 can animate a noncreature artifact into an artifact creature until your next turn, and its −2 lets you put an artifact from outside the game or from exile into your hand. Tournament rules treat cards chosen from outside the game as coming from your sideboard, Karn's static effect applies only to battlefield activated abilities, and his −2 cannot retrieve face-down exiled cards.
