Sands of Time (VIS-153) is a rare artifact from the Visions expansion. It causes each player to skip their untap step and then, at the beginning of each player's upkeep, simultaneously untaps all tapped artifacts, creatures, and lands that player controls and taps all untapped artifacts, creatures, and lands they control. This creates a repeated toggle each turn that can be used to lock opponents' permanents or enable specific timing interactions with tapping and untapping effects.
