Forbidden Ritual (VIS-60) is a black sorcery from the Visions set. Its effect lets you repeatedly sacrifice a nontoken permanent to force a targeted opponent to either lose 2 life or sacrifice a permanent or discard a card each time. The repeatable sacrifice loop can be used to escalate pressure or grind opponent resources while also enabling sacrifice synergies in your own deck.
