It enters the battlefield with four +1/+1 counters and has an upkeep ability that lets you sacrifice a creature to add a counter or otherwise remove one, plus a black mana ability to give it flying until end of turn. Its upkeep interaction makes it a self-escalating threat that can be fueled by sacrificing creatures, and it can sacrifice itself if desired to trigger the ability.
