Balance (VMA-14) is a white sorcery reprint from the Vintage Masters set. When resolved, each player equalizes resources by choosing a number of lands, then cards in hand, then creatures to keep equal to the lowest count among players and sacrificing or discarding the rest. The spell's simultaneous, order-sensitive choice process means players make choices in turn order for each category, with unchosen objects removed at once, enabling dramatic board resets and political plays.
