Subcontract (UST 73, foil) is a black sorcery from the Unstable set that instructs an outside person to look at an opponent’s hand and pick a nonland card to be discarded. The effect lets someone not in the game make that choice, and the card’s rulings explicitly allow contacting people outside the game for the decision. The card is silver-bordered and designed for humorous, casual play rather than tournament legality.
