capital offense (UST-52) is a black instant from the humorous Unstable set that uses a typography-based effect. It gives target creature −X/−X until end of turn, where X equals the number of capital letters in that creature’s rules text, counting ability words and all capitals. This creates unusual interactions with creatures that have many capitalized ability words or proper nouns, turning card text styling into a tactical resource.
