It exiles a target nonland permanent and normally creates a 1/1 colorless Eldrazi Scion token with "Sacrifice this creature: Add {C}", but if kicked it instead creates a token that's a copy of Emrakul, the Promised End. That combination lets the spell act as both removal and a potential late-game threat for decks able to pay its high cost.
