Richard Garfield, Ph.D. (UNH 44, Legendary Creature — Human Designer) is a rare foil from Unhinged that emulates the game variant “Mental Magic.” Its ability lets you cast a card as though it were any other card with the same mana cost, choosing a different target each time and tracking choices per Richard in play. This swap is optional and respects format legality and color requirements, and each separate Richard tracks its own used-card list so choices don’t carry between copies.
