Common Courtesy (UGL 21) is an enchantment from the Unglued silver-bordered set. It forces players to ask permission before casting spells by countering any spell cast without permission and punishes denied permission by countering the spell and sacrificing itself. The card’s effect is a social/house-rule mechanic rather than a conventional triggered ability used in competitive decks.
