It destroys target creature and, if that creature dies, its controller creates two token copies whose power and toughness are half (rounded up) of the original. The tokens copy the creature’s printed characteristics except for power/toughness and other listed exceptions, and any enter-the-battlefield triggers from the copied creature will occur.
