It replaces your draw step with a recurring scry-dig: at each upkeep you look at the top three cards of your library, put one into your hand and the rest into your graveyard. It can also convert graveyard resources into a removal effect by spending black mana, tapping, and exiling X cards from your graveyard to give target creature -X/-X until end of turn.
