Trickbind (TSP-88) is a blue instant from Time Spiral that has Split second and targets activated or triggered abilities. It counters the targeted activated or triggered ability and prevents activated abilities of that permanent from being activated that turn. The card is commonly used as a control tool to stop problematic triggered sequences or lock down a permanent’s activations while the split second prevents responses.
