Silverflame Squire // On Alert (ELD-279) is an Adventure creature/instant from Throne of Eldraine that combines a 2/1 White Human Soldier creature with a back-face instant named On Alert. On Alert gives target creature +2/+2 until end of turn and untaps it, and casting the Adventure exiles the card so you may later cast the creature from exile. The front creature is a low-cost aggressive body that can be cast normally or later after resolving the Adventure to provide both tempo and a resilient threat.
