Portent of Betrayal (THS 133, foil) is a red sorcery from the Theros set. It gains control of target creature until end of turn, untaps it, gives it haste, and then lets you scry 1. The card can target any creature and its effects resolve in sequence so if the target is illegal the spell won’t resolve and you won’t scry.
