Description

The Balrog, Durin's Bane (LTR-646 foil) is a legendary creature — Avatar Demon from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. It has haste, is difficult to block because only legendary creatures can block it, and its casting cost is reduced by permanents sacrificed that turn down to a minimum of one black and one red mana. When it dies, it triggers to destroy a target artifact or creature an opponent controls, giving it a removal-oriented death trigger.
