Samwise the Stouthearted (LTR 306, Legendary Creature — Halfling Peasant) is a white two-mana creature from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. It has flash and on entering the battlefield can return one permanent card that was put into your graveyard from the battlefield this turn to your hand, then triggers the Ring tempts you effect. As a legendary card the Ring-temple rulings interact by granting an emblem named The Ring and choosing a Ring-bearer when its temptation occurs, creating ongoing emblem-based changes.
