Samwise Gamgee (LTR-673 foil) is a Legendary Creature — Halfling Peasant from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. Whenever another nontoken creature you control enters the battlefield you create a Food token, and you can sacrifice three Foods to return a target historic card from your graveyard to your hand. This card supports sacrifice and recursion strategies by generating repeatable Food resources that fund the three-Food activated ability to recur artifacts, legendaries, or Sagas.
