Description

Gandalf the Grey (LTR-814 foil) is a Legendary Creature — Avatar Wizard from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery, its triggered ability lets you choose an unchosen mode to tap/untap a permanent, deal 3 damage to each opponent, copy an instant or sorcery you control, or put Gandalf on top of its owner's library. The chosen-mode restriction is tracked per-object and persists even if the ability doesn't resolve, and modes requiring targets can only be chosen if legal targets exist.
