Elrond, Lord of Rivendell (LTR-49) is a legendary creature — Elf Noble from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth expansion. Whenever Elrond or another creature you control enters the battlefield, you scry 1 and if that is the second time this ability has resolved that turn, the Ring tempts you, leading to emblem and Ring-bearer effects. The Ring-related triggers can create an emblem named The Ring and designate a Ring-bearer, with each such temptation adding abilities to the emblem and interacting with rules about choosing and tracking a Ring-bearer.
