Surge Engine (PBRO-81p foil) is an artifact creature Construct released in The Brothers' War Promos. It enters with defender but can pay {U} to lose defender and gain an unblockable clause, and it has abilities to become a 5/4 blue and to pay {4}{U}{U} to draw three cards (the draw ability can be activated only once). The card functions as a value engine in blue artifact decks, trading initial blocker status for eventual evasion and a one-time large card draw.
