It enters the battlefield creating two Food tokens and has trample, and when it attacks you may sacrifice a Food to mill three cards and potentially put a permanent among them into your hand. Its role is both a value engine that produces resources and a graveyard/mill enabler that can recur permanents into your hand for midrange or combo strategies.
