It grants Ward {2}, lets you look at the top card of your library at any time, and allows you to play lands and cast Mutant, Ninja, or Turtle spells from the top of your library, giving creatures cast that way an additional +1/+1 counter on entry. As a legend with a hybrid green/blue cost and a 3/3 body, it supports top-of-library manipulation and creature-value strategies in decks that can include its color identity.
