It has deathtouch and an enters-the-battlefield trigger that lets you exile a nonland card from a revealed opponent's hand, and when it leaves the battlefield the exiled card’s owner creates an X/X white Spirit token equal to that card’s mana value. Its exile-and-replacement mechanic creates a tempo swing and a delayed consequence that can deter opponents from playing high-value spells against you.
