Description

Baral and Kari Zev (TDC-282) is a legendary Human creature from Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander that combines Baral and Kari Zev on one card. It has first strike and menace and its triggered ability lets you cast a lower mana-value spell of the same card type for free the first time you cast an instant or sorcery each turn, otherwise creating a 2/1 Ragavan token with haste. The card functions as a tempo engine that can either generate free spells to extend plays or produce an aggressive creature token when the free-cast option isn’t taken.
