When it resolves you choose a creature type and return all creatures that aren’t of that type to their owners’ hands, acting as a mass-type-specific bounce effect. The effect can be used to clear boards, protect a chosen tribe, or disrupt opposing creature-based strategies by forcing type-based selection.
