Hithlain Rope (LTC-156) is a Rare artifact from the Tales of Middle-earth Commander set. It has two activated abilities: pay 1 and tap to fetch a basic land onto the battlefield tapped while giving control of the artifact to the player to your right, or pay 2 and tap to draw a card while also passing control to the player to your right. The card cannot be sacrificed, creating tension between gaining its immediate value and handing the permanent to an opponent or teammate.
