When that trigger resolves you may return another permanent you control that shares a permanent type with the entering permanent to its owner's hand, enabling bounce chains and repeated ETB effects. In multiplayer singleton formats like Commander it commonly serves as a combo enabler or a recurring-value engine by pairing with creatures, enchantments, or other permanents that have beneficial enter-the-battlefield abilities.
