It lets you discard any number of cards and draw that many, and if there are seven or more cards in your graveyard as it resolves you create a 3/2 red and white Spirit token. As a Lesson sorcery, it can be included in a main deck like other instants and sorceries and can provide both card selection and a late-game creature advantage.
