Once during each of your turns, it lets you cast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard by sacrificing a creature in addition to paying other costs, and spells cast this way are exiled instead of going to the graveyard. It enables graveyard recursion at the cost of creatures, supporting sacrifice or spell-reuse strategies in midrange and combo decks.
