It has Shadow and replaces cards that would go to an opponent's graveyard by exiling them with void counters, and it can be tapped and sacrificed to let you play one such exiled card this turn without paying its mana cost. Its role is disruptive control and card-grab, enabling value plays off opponents' discarded or destroyed permanent and nonpermanent cards.
