Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror (SOI-92) is a rare double-faced blue creature from Shadows over Innistrad that enters the battlefield with four ice counters and defender. Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery you remove an ice counter and, if none remain, it transforms into Awoken Horror; the transformed side returns all non-Horror creatures to their owners' hands when it enters. As Awoken Horror it presents a large evasive threat and a powerful board-reset effect useful for tempo and control strategies.
