Archangel Avacyn // Avacyn, the Purifier (SOI 5, foil) is a legendary double-faced Angel creature from Shadows over Innistrad. The front face has flash, flying and vigilance and grants indestructible to your creatures when it enters, while a delayed trigger will transform it if a non-Angel creature you control dies. The back face is a larger Angel that, on transforming into Avacyn, the Purifier, deals 3 damage to each other creature and each opponent, changing board interaction and often shifting the card from defensive to punishing roles.
