Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror (SIR-95) is a double-faced rare creature from Shadows over Innistrad Remastered that enters as Thing in the Ice with four ice counters. Thing in the Ice has Defender and its triggered ability removes an ice counter whenever you cast an instant or sorcery and transforms it when the last counter is removed, flipping into Awoken Horror which returns all non-Horror creatures to their owners' hands upon transforming. Awoken Horror becomes a 7/8 Kraken Horror that can swing the board state by bouncing opposing creatures when it appears.
