Altered Ego (SIR-228) is a Rare Creature — Shapeshifter from Shadows over Innistrad Remastered. It can't be countered and may enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature already on the battlefield, entering with X additional +1/+1 counters based on the X paid. Because it copies printed characteristics (with specific ruling interactions for tokens, copies, and double-faced cards) it can replicate enter-the-battlefield abilities and function as a flexible threat or toolbox card in decks that can pay its green/blue and X cost.
