Pale Wayfarer (SHM 17, foil) is a White Creature — Spirit Giant from the Shadowmoor expansion. Its activated ability lets you pay {2}{W}{W} and untap it to give a target creature protection from a color of that creature's controller's choice until end of turn. That protection can be used defensively to save creatures or offensively to remove blockers by making them unable to be blocked by certain colors.
