Gloomlance (SHM 67, foil) is a black sorcery from the Shadowmoor expansion. Its effect destroys a target creature and additionally forces that creature’s controller to discard a card if the destroyed creature was green or white. The card costs {3}{B}{B} and functions as a removal spell useful for dealing with problematic creatures and disrupting opponents’ hands when colors match.
