Mana Short (7ED 86, foil) is a blue Instant from Seventh Edition that taps all lands a target player controls and causes them to lose all unspent mana. It removes available mana after taps resolve, and because it is an instant it can be cast in response but will not retroactively stop mana already spent on a resolving spell. As a disruption card it is best used proactively (for example during an opponent’s upkeep) to deny future plays rather than to counter spells already on the stack.
